Hi, I'm Aya.

I’ve always dreamt of having my own travel website. I couldn’t be more excited that I’m finally doing it! It’s like having a personal travel diary that I can look back on and reminisce about.

Also, by documenting everything there is to know about a destination, I can share my experiences to others and be of help to them in some way. 

I’m not a full-time traveler. I’m just a regular tourist visiting places with limited time and mostly in a budget. So how I spend both my time and money is important. I make sure to plan smart and have a rich and authentic experience.

  1. My first out-of-country travel is Thailand.
  2. I read two books at a time. A fiction to help me sleep at night. And a biography or arts-related to inspire me in the morning. 
  3. My favorite city is Rome. 
  4. I love free diving.
  5. I think that Spanish is the most beautiful language. I speak and understand conversational-level Spanish.
  6. My favorite painting is the Lady with an Ermine by Leonardo Da Vinci.
  7.  I still don’t fully understand how Pinterest works.
  8. I’m an island lover but sadly, I’m allergic to too much sun, sand, and sea water.
  9. I’m not a dancer but I enjoy dancing.
  10. I try not to miss sunsets and full moons.
  11. My dream destination is South America. It draws me. I feel a connection to it though I’ve never been. Also, I jam to Latin songs. 
  12. I’m a jump roper.
  13. I absolutely love Before Sunrise. I went to Vienna and been to the same spots where Jesse and Celine strolled. The highlight was being in Albertina at night, facing the Vienna State Opera building. I listened to “Come Here” by Kath Bloom. 
  14. I make good iced coffee using an Italian moka pot.
  15. I love trains.

I fancy myself as an amateur photographer. Travel photography is my way of preserving memories and revisiting adventures. Editing my photos feels like a time travel. All photos that I’ll use on this site are mine.
